Using an app on the mobile phone, the user can connect to the search engine to access a wide range of services, including setting up the search engine, planning trips or even to practice rescues. For professionals, there is an enhanced analogue mode with automatic calibration and a maximum range of up to 90 m. When multiple people are buried, it offers a scrolling mode to maximise efficiency during the search phase.
